A new client, who I am making presentation boxes for, had an unusal request. They want a ribbon tie down that comes out of the center of the small tray. After consultating with collegues and some experimentation, I decided that the best solution was the punch a hole right through the center of the finished tray and push the ribbon through that. It's glued to the bottom of the tray and sandwiched between the traycase and the cover. I was more than a little worried it would look a little messy, but I lucked out and found a screwdriver that is the same width as the ribbon.
