For Christmas this past year, I got my dad a copy of a rarely published Buddhist scripture from The Strand. It was originally in an awful, brown library binding. So I did what I do and rebound in a Japanese silk cloth with dark green goat skin leather labels. I set all the type at Woodside in Ludlow Garamond and Garamond Italic and stamped it in gold. They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but in this case, now you can. A beautiful cover for a beautiful book.
